  1. This is exactly why I do not work outside the home. With our frequent military moves, the added cost of childcare, and the increase in the tax bracket that my income would put us in, it does not make fiscal sense for me to have a job outside of the home at this time. Between child care, fuel, dry cleaning, wear and tear on my vehicle, and other incidental cost I had once estimated I would just be breaking even at $36,000! And I did those calculations over 5 years ago.

    1. I hear ya Paula. For us I have the most job security and better benefits and as u know men need to work often for their egos so it sucks. I do have a good job and great office w good people so it’s hard to give it up. It doesn’t make fiscal sense for u guys that’s true.
