We had the rare opportunity to participate in a party at Archery Games Denver, and it was a blast! We had 13 kids, but parties can include 20 children (kids party), or 20 adults when you do a corporate event. You can also drop in and play for an hour (minimum of 6 players required), for $25 a player, but you will be playing with others.
Archery Games Denver is a lot of fun. Our party included instruction for the kiddos, and assistance for an almost 75 minutes, including time to “suit up,” learn how to put the bow on properly and shoot it. Games started with the kiddos learning how to use a bow and shoot at their target. It was a great way to warm up and learn how to place the arrow on your bow. For younger ones, there are smaller, more manageable bows for their soft, padded bows. The group “suits” up with gear, including protective face masks. Then, the group went behind the fenced area, and played archery in teams. The first game was zombie attack, and was shooting at other teams. Then, the teams played several more games competing in teams. The kids were exhausted at the end, and had a great time playing for the entire time. My kids are still talking about how they “knocked out” their friends from the competition with their bows. The games are safe, low-risk and one of our kiddos was even wearing a boot from a soccer injury and successfully played in the competitions. Different age groups can easily play with one another, and it is low key and fun.
Disclaimer: I was offered a free party for up to 20 kids in exchange for an honest review and promoting the venue.
